European CBD and Cannabis Events Affected by Coronavirus. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to escalate around the world, it is difficult to imagine that anyone hasn’t been affected by the virus in some way. With the length of disruption remaining ever more uncertain, a steady stream of events have been forced to cancel or postpone – and cannabis and CBD events are no exception.

European CBD and Cannabis Events Affected by Coronavirus

From hemp and cannabis business events to CBD networking and conference events, we’re taking a look at some of the European events that have been affected by the coronavirus.

International Cannabis Business Conference – Berlin
The second of the International Cannabis Business Conference Europe dates, ICBC Berlin was set to go ahead in the city at the beginning of April. However, as Europe continues its lockdown, organisers have announced that the event would be moved to a later date. Exhibitors, speakers, and networkers are now planning to meet at the ICBC Berlin event between July 29-31.

ICBC’s first scheduled European event was originally set to take place in Barcelona on March 12th. Unfortunately, the event was canceled at the last minute as Spain’s Coronavirus situation deteriorated, and the US introduced travel bans to mainland Europe.

IndicaSativa – Bologna
IndicaSativa is Italy’s first event dedicated to the many uses of the hemp plant. For its eighth annual event, a catalog of exhibitors, vendors, and speakers were set to gather in Bologna between April 17-19. As Italy became the epicentre of Europe’s growing Coronavirus pandemic, organisers were forced to rearrange the event.

The CBD Show – London
The three-day event, originally due to kick off on the 1st of May, has now been postponed until January 2021. This postponement period is one of the longest of all cannabis-related events in the UK. The CBD Show London will still be held at the Olympia venue in the city, where it was originally scheduled.
